Founded in 1978, Jackson Oncology Associates serves the mid-Mississippi region with compassionate and high-quality medical oncology, hematology and related chemotherapy services. Jackson Oncology Associates consists of nine physicians and four advanced practice nurses (NPs) providing cancer care out of three practice sites, two of which are located on the campuses of the two local community hospitals, Baptist Medical Center and St. Dominic Hospital.
The practice seeks to hire an Executive Director who will work closely with the physician leadership team to lead the practice into the future. The Executive Director will provide management and financial leadership and strategic direction for the practice.
Requires Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, Master's Degree preferred (M.H.A., M.B.A.) 7-10 years medical group management experience, medical oncology experience preferred. Financial management and budgeting experience. Strong organization leadership skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to engage, motivate and mentor organizational talent.

- Under the direction of the Vice President and/or the Radiation Oncologist is responsible for the coordination of all clinical care as it relates to radiation oncology.
- Responsible to oversee the daily operational activities of all radiation oncology clinics in Florida Cancer Specialists.
- Works at all sites based on need, to establish Standard Operating Procedures company wide, to assure that same clinical processes and quality are provided and maintained at all sites.
- Mentor and provide training for staff on all aspects of technology.
- Assures safe staffing levels, annual and probationary performance evaluations and leads performance improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Works as a Radiation Therapist as needed.
