Abstract Submission

2024 ACCC Abstract Submissions

The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations and track sessions at the ACCC 41st National Oncology Conference, October 9-11, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Priority will be given to posters and sessions that support the 2024-2025 ACCC President’s Theme: Reimagining Community Engagement and Equity in Cancer. Potential topics could include:

  • Partnerships with employers, civic groups, and other community organizations to deliver education and screening, with an emphasis on underserved patient populations.
  • Health equity, diversity, and inclusion programs.
  • Efforts to recruit a workforce more representative of local communities of care.
  • Outreach programs to historically minoritized or marginalized youths about a career in the healthcare field.
  • Impact of diverse patient and family advisory boards on practices and policies.

Other areas of interest include:

  • Quality and process improvement efforts.
  • Strategic, operational, and financial planning for a healthy bottom line
  • Interdisciplinary partnerships in care coordination
  • Patient-centered care and supportive services
  • Community research programs.
  • Innovative staffing models and retention and recruitment strategies

In 2,500 words or less, your abstract should describe your work (background and methods); how this work has impacted your staff, program, and patients (results and outcomes); and the top 3 takeaways attendees can take back and share with their team members or implement at their cancer program or practice (conclusions).

Deadline for abstract submission is May 24, 2024

Abstracts must be submitted through ACCC’s online platform.

You will be notified of acceptance or regret via email by June 10, 2024. If selected for a session, ACCC will pay all travel expenses and 1 night’s hotel stay for speaker(s). If selected for a poster, authors will be expected to travel and attend the conference (meeting registration will be waived) and to be present during the dedicated poster session.
