Speaker Guidelines
This is the information you will need with regard to the conference speaker Information, bio sketch, travel arrangements, learning objectives, presentation templates, format recommendations. Please download and read these guidelines carefully and note on your calendar these important due dates.

ACCC requires that all presentations use ACCC's PowerPoint template, available for downloading here. The template includes ACCC’s logo in the lower left corner. Our CME provider does not permit the presenter to use her or her own logo or watermark backgrounds. However, presenters may select their own colors, fonts, and slide style.
Presentations should be submitted by July 18, 2008, via email to Carole Miller, Programs and Meetings Coordinator, cmiller@accc-cancer.org. No faxes. Please notify us if you make any edits.

Format Recommendations:
- No backgrounds/logos on vendor/supplier presentations (accreditation requirement)
- Spell out acronyms the first time used (accreditation requirement)
- Try not to exceed 10 pages (30 slides) in length, page numbers are not necessary
- Limit each slide to 7 lines and 6 words per line
- Colors and fonts: Dark blue or black backgrounds with white or yellow lettering, white backgrounds with black lettering, font size: 18-point size preferred, Bold, readable fonts
- Sources should be cited on your slide/or a separate sheet!
- Include a glossary of terms (especially acronyms) that may not be understood by everyone. This is a multidisciplinary audience.
Please Note:
- All handout materials will be reviewed by ACCC prior to distribution for copyright and proprietary issues. Handouts using copyrighted materials must include written permission to reprint (this includes copies of articles, brochures and cartoons). ACCC reserves the right to remove PowerPoint backgrounds for reproduction purposes.
- All sales of speakers’ products are prohibited.
