New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join our growing Palliative Care Team. Our highly experienced independent Oncology/Hematology practice serves beautiful southern Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire.

The successful candidate will be board certified in a primary specialty and fellowship trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Experience in Oncology and Hematology patient care is preferred. As a Physician member of our Palliative Care Team, you will provide expert care in the outpatient and inpatient setting in our Portsmouth NH and Kennebunk ME clinics along with as needed coverage for our largest clinic which is moving to a brand-new Rock Row location in Westbrook, ME. You will collaborate in co-managing palliative care with our patients' primary Oncologists/Hematologists. In addition, you will participate in inpatient care for NECS’ patients that are admitted to area hospitals.

This position is full-time and includes a competitive compensation and benefits package, generous PTO and CME time, paid holidays as well as relocation assistance. NECS is a private medical practice by design, and is composed of Oncologists-Hematologists, Surgeons, Internist and includes Survivorship/High-Risk Cancer Genetics Hospice and Palliative Care programs that serve the region from 5 different locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
