SCOS Fellows Travel Award

The South Carolina Oncology Society (SCOS) is committed to supporting the educational needs of its Fellows and Residents, who are vital to the future of delivering high-quality patient care across South Carolina.

The SCOS Board of Directors are pleased to announce the SCOS Fellow/Resident Travel Award, which has been created to help offset travel expenses for SCOS Fellows and Residents who have an accepted abstract at a national oncology, hematology, or cancer-related meeting. Such organizations may include—but are not limited to—the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH), or Society of Hematologic Oncology.

Award Levels Include:

  • $2000 will be offered to SCOS Fellow Members who are first author on an abstract
  • $1000 award is offered to SCOS Fellow Members who are named on an abstract

Applications for this award will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Once an application is submitted, the SCOS Board of Directors Subcommittee will review the application.
