Outstanding Operations in Philadelphia

The Future of Immunotherapy in Pittsburgh

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center announced that Jason Luke, MD, FACP, will become director of the new Cancer Immunotherapeutics Center, overseeing all early-phase immunotherapy studies. Dr. Luke will also serve as associate professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Partnering for Expert Care in Indiana

Congratulations to Parkview Cancer Institute on their new partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Network! As a certified affiliate, patients and providers in Fort Wayne will now have access to specialized expertise, best practices, and additional support from physicians at the Texas-based network.

A New Home for Cancer Care in Virginia

On May 13, the Inova Schar Cancer Institute opened the doors of its new facility in Fairfax to patients for the first time. The 438,000-square-foot facility was retrofitted from the former headquarters of Exxon Mobil and cost $150 million to construct.

Expanding Care in Tampa Bay

In partnership with AdventHealth, Moffitt Cancer Center announced plans to open an outpatient cancer center in Wesley Chapel, expanding the organization's footprint in the Tampa Bay region. The new center will be designed to provide medical and radiation oncology services and accommodate 20 exam rooms, 22 infusion stations, and two linear accelerators.
