Jorge J. García, PharmD, MS, MHA, MBA, FACHE, FACCC,  serves as an assistant vice president at Baptist Health South Florida with responsibility for system-wide oncology pharmacy services primarily at the Miami Cancer Institute, the Lynn Cancer Institute, and inpatient oncology pharmacy services at several acute hospitals.

Dr. García has pioneered pharmacy charge integrity and revenue management in the health-system setting and is a thought leader and national speaker in this area, as well as in the areas of alternative payment models, biosimilars, and value-based oncology care. Dr. García leads advocacy efforts at the national level to promote evaluation of safe and effective use of biosimilars, along with stakeholder engagement to support a more just and sustainable biosimilar pharmaco-economics model.

Dr. García obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy and MBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2010. He then transitioned to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to pursue an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 & PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency and a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration. He also completed an MHA from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. García is a board member at the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), a recipient of the FLASCO 2018 Above and Beyond Award, and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Kathleen K. Harnden, MD, MBA, is a board-certified medical oncologist and internal medicine physician at Inova Schar Cancer Institute located in Fairfax, VA, specializing in the management of breast cancer with a particular focus on premenopausal women.

After completing her hematology/oncology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Harnden joined the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, where she applies her expertise in breast cancer care and clinical research. She is also an MBA graduate of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, bringing a unique perspective that combines clinical excellence with strategic leadership.

Dr. Harnden's research focuses on early-phase clinical trials, breast cancer genomics, and personalized treatment approaches based on advanced diagnostic testing. She has served as a principal investigator on several Phase I clinical trials in metastatic breast cancer, working to develop novel therapies that improve patient outcomes.

A recognized leader in her field, Dr. Harnden has authored numerous publications in national journals and presented at leading oncology conferences, sharing her insights on cutting-edge advancements in breast cancer care. Through her work, she is committed to advancing the science of oncology and delivering patient-centered care to those affected by breast cancer.

Kristi Kay Orbaugh, RN, MSN, RNP, AOCN, is a highly experienced oncology nurse practitioner and advanced oncology certified nurse dedicated to advancing cancer care through clinical practice, education, and leadership. She brings a wealth of expertise in oncology nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.

With a Master of Science in Nursing, Kristi has served in various clinical and leadership roles, emphasizing the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to enhance oncology outcomes. Her commitment to oncology extends to her work as a faculty member, where she shares her extensive knowledge with healthcare professionals, aiming to elevate the standard of care for cancer patients.

Kristi’s contributions to the field are underscored by her involvement in education and training programs that empower clinicians to adopt innovative approaches to oncology care. Her passion for improving the lives of patients and their families continues to inspire her work as a clinician, mentor, and educator.
