Christina Bowen, MD, ABOIM, DipACLM, serves as the Chief Well-being Officer at Vidant Health in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Bowen also serves as the medical director for the Center for Healthy Living at the Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, North Carolina and The Dare County Health Department.

Bowen works alongside area physicians using integrative and lifestyle medicine to assist patients with general wellness as well as the management of specific health challenges. Utilizing evidence-based therapies, Dr. Bowen makes use of appropriate therapeutic approaches to facilitate healing and help people regain and maintain optimum.

Dr. Bowen earned her medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She completed an internship at Duke University and residency at the Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Bowen completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at The University of Arizona.

Dr. Jiajoyce R. Conway is a practicing clinician with over 25 years of invaluable clinical experience in medical and hematology oncology, with a special focus on bone marrow transplant and blood cancers. She initially obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Coppin University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nursing Practice, also from Coppin University. Dr. Conway continued to further her nursing education at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, where she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice. In addition to her nursing degrees, she also earned her Master of Theology degree from Liberty University.

Passionate about enhancing patient outcomes, Dr. Conway is dedicated to palliative care and providing holistic care with the goal of empowering patients to engage in their health outcomes in any capacity they are able. Her commitment extends to educating healthcare professionals on the impact of social determinants of health, early palliative care interventions, and preventive health measures in improving survival rates and overall quality of life. Driven by the belief that patient education is paramount, she strives to enlighten individuals about the factors influencing their decision-making, well-being, and perceptions of their diseases.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Conway is a published author with articles addressing symptom management, breast cancer in pregnancy, and palliative care in high-risk patients. She developed a high-risk assessment tool, utilizing age and social determinants of health, to aid decision-making in chemotherapy treatment for high-risk oncology patients. She has also spoken on national and local oncology platforms and engages in community outreach and education initiatives.

Audrey Davis, LPC, PM-LPC, serves as senior director of health equity for Cancer Support Community based in Missouri. Davis is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a certified grant proposal writer and is certified in Project Management – Lean Process.

Davis has presented at local, regional, and national conferences, and has been sole and second author in peer-reviewed journals involving faith and healing. Most recently, she created and managed programs and projects that addressed the social determinants of health, with specialized attention to the intersection of behavioral wellness and health outcomes. She also oversaw related reinvestment plans and contracts, served on several steering and subcommittees with internal and external partners, and developed new and innovative approaches to systems integration in the short- and long-term.

Davis earned a bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and a master’s degree from Eastern University in St. David's, Pennsylvania.

Niharika Dixit, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the division of hematology/oncology and practices general oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG).

Dr. Dixit’s research focuses on cancer disparities, supportive care, and survivorship care. She is the Medical Director of the Avon Comprehensive Breast Cancer program at ZSFG and directs the Cancer Navigation and Survivorship program at ZSFG. She leads the San Francisco Cancer Initiative (SFCAN) breast cancer task force and serves as chairperson for the Cancer Committee at ZSFG.

Dr. Dixit holds a medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. She completed an internship at the Command Hospital in Chandimandir, India, and residencies at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, as well as St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Krista Nelson, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, FAOS, serves as manager of oncology social work and program manager for quality and research of Cancer Support Services at Providence Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon. Over the years, she has specialized in many cancers and is interested in the effect of cancer on the family. Krista defines her role as providing support for people and their families throughout the cancer continuum, and sharing the expertise that she has learned from other patients with cancer. What she loves about working with those affected with cancer is being able to witness the grace, courage and life lessons of individuals dealing with cancer and the opportunity to be a part of their journey.

Nelson served as president of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) from 2021-2022.  Nelson is also a Past President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) and past Invited Director of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS). She also served as Director on the board of directors of the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and as Director of the American Clinical Social Work Association (ACSWA). In 2019, the Association of Oncology Social Work presented Nelson its Leadership in Oncology Social Work Award.

Nelson received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon

Francinna Scott-Jones, ROCC, CPAR, FACCC, is a knowledgeable professional specializing in healthcare revenue cycle. She is the financial coordinator for the Radiation Oncology Department at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute in Atlanta, Ga. For the past 25 years, Scott-Jones has focused her talents on radiation oncology. She has been responsible for the revenue cycle process for freestanding radiation oncology centers and outpatient hospital-based facilities. In a previous role, Scott-Jones served as the billing and reimbursement director of a central business office for a large radiation oncology practice management company. That office was responsible for billing and collections for 24 practices located throughout the U S.

Scott-Jones is passionate about working to mitigate disparities to accessing healthcare. She believes that quality healthcare is a right that should be afforded to all people regardless of their race and/or socioeconomic background. Working with the Association of Cancer Care Centers Financial Advocacy Network aligns Scott-Jones with her goal to make a difference in oncology patients’ lives.

Leigha Senter, MS, LGC, FACCC, is a licensed genetic counselor and clinical professor at The Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute where she specializes in cancer genetics risk assessment in women with gynecologic cancers. She is the Associate Director of the Division of Human Genetics.

Senter has more than 20 years of research experience in hereditary cancers with a primary focus in BRCA gene-related projects with more than 100 peer reviewed publications. She is currently a board member for the Association of Community Cancer Centers.

Senter earned a bachelor's degree in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and a master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
