Guests

Anna Howard
Principal of Policy Development, Access to and Quality of Care
American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network

“These new tests are really a cutting-edge new technology in the fight against cancer. A lot of research and effort has been given to [understanding] how can we detect cancer sooner because we know that when we detect sooner then the individual has a greater likelihood of surviving that cancer and has more treatment options available to them. So, providing coverage through the [Medicare] Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act really goes hand in hand with the [Cancer] Moonshot Initiative.”
– Anna Howard

Jeff Allen

President and CEO
Friends of Cancer Research

“If these [multi-cancer early detection] tests do go on to show the ability to improve outcomes for many people with cancer that can be identified earlier and successfully treated then they truly could have a transformative impact on cancer as we know it.”
– Jeff Allen
