Who Are We?

Founded in 1991, the Rocky Mountain Oncology Society (RMOS) is the largest oncology professional organization in the state. RMOS comprises a powerful community of oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary care providers involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

RMOS is one of 24 State Chapter Members managed by the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) and is a State Affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Mission:

RMOS empowers an interdisciplinary community to provide high-quality cancer care in Colorado.

RMOS looks to achieve our mission in the following ways:

  • Community - Build a unified community of physicians, researchers, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, trainees, and other interdisciplinary care providers involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

  • Advocacy - Improve the quality of cancer care through policy
  • Resources - Identify and provide for the changing needs of our cancer care community

  • Education- Provide relevant and cutting-edge information accessible across the state
