Call for Abstracts

Submit Your Abstract for 2025 AMCCBS

We are excited to open a call for abstracts that will be considered for sessions at this prestigious meeting. Special consideration will be given to abstracts addressing key challenges in the areas of business, technology, and policy. Topics may include:

• Strategies to improve financial performance of the cancer service line 
• Cancer service line growth and expansion to provide comprehensive cancer care services 
• Deployment of precision medicine in the community setting 
• Staffing models that address burnout and improve resiliency 
• Effective recruitment and retention practices  
• Development of strategic partnerships between sites of care (academic/community, practice/hospital) and across different disciplines and specialties (oncology/pathology, oncology/cardiology, oncology/primary care) 
• Implementation of new treatments and technologies in the community setting 
• Adoption of AI and BI technology solutions  
• Participation in alternative payment models 
• Solutions to address payer challenges like prior authorization and step therapy, including proposed policy changes 
• Community engagement efforts to address disparities and improve equitable care 
• Effective models for building more diverse and inclusive teams 
• Innovative or effective staffing models for multidisciplinary roles 
• Expansion or enhancement of clinical trial offerings 
• Patient advocacy, inclusion, outreach or education models 
• Engagement or advocacy with local/state or other elected officials 
• Implementation of the new navigation reimbursement codes: successes and ongoing challenges 

Abstracts should be no more than 750 words and should include at least 3 learning objectives and 3 key takeaways that conference participants will be able to implement at their programs and practices.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
