Highlights of the Killeen Position:
  • Join a team of 3 other physicians at Killeen Regional Cancer Center - 2207 South Clear Creek Road, Killeen, TX 76549.
  • Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
  • On-site lab, Pharmacy, Infusion Center, and Radiation Oncology.
  • Referral base from primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital. Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine -Temple.
  • EPIC AND BEACON EMR.
  • Support staff consists of Nurse Coordinators, Clerical, Scheduling Staff, and Nurse Navigator.
  • Opportunities for clinical trials.
Highlights of the Waco Position:
  • Join a team of 4 other physicians at a dedicated cancer center.
  • 15-20 patients
  • Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
  • On-site lab, pharmacy, and infusion center.
  • On-site Radiation Oncology.
  • Referral base from primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital.
  • Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine – Temple.
  • EMR - EPIC AND BEACON.
  • Support staff consists of Nurse Coordinators, Clerical and scheduling staff, Nurse Navigators and Nurse practitioners.
  • Opportunities for clinical trials.
Highlights of the Temple Position:
  • Join a team of 9 other physicians and 3 APPs at a dedicated cancer center.
  • 15-20 patients
  • Office hours: Hours 8-5 M-F with 1 admin half-day. Call only when on inpatient service – fellow takes first call.
  • Expanding hematology division – expanding cellular therapy.
  • Opportunity for academic appointment with Baylor College of Medicine – Temple, Three-year hematology/oncology fellowship program, Internal Medicine Residency.
  • Board-Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology from ACGME accredited program.
  • EMR - EPIC AND BEACON.
  • Support staff consists of Nurse Coordinators, Clerical/Scheduling Staff, and Nurse Navigators.
  • Opportunities for clinical trials.

Seeking interest in benign and malignant hematology – sickle cell disease a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
  • Board-Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology from ACGME accredited program.
  • We are looking for a matched team player with a favorable work/ training history.
  • The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively partner with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.
