Supportive oncology care is essential in management of all cancers, recommended in guidelines, and required by accreditation bodies, such as Commission on Cancer. However, significant barriers—including insufficient fee-for-serve reimbursement and the lack of relevant specialists and staff to deliver these services—prevent consistent availability and delivery of supportive oncology services.

ACCC is conducting a national study to examine the current capacity for and barriers to the delivery of comprehensive adult supportive oncology services at a representative set of ACCC member institutions.

Your input on this survey is critical and will be utilized to inform policy and value-based payment reform. If you represent a practice that is part of a larger program or integrated health system, please only answer on behalf of your satellite location.
