Communication Resources

Patient-provider communication is key to comprehensive, patient-centered care of metastatic breast cancer patients. Members of the multidisciplinary care team and patients have many conversations along the continuum of care. Click on a care-continuum point in the communication process map below to find resources to deepen understanding of specific issues and needs of metastatic breast cancer patients. In each process area, resources are organized under applicable effective support principles described in the ACCC workbook, Metastatic Breast Cancer: Effective Practices & Practices in Patient Support.  Download the workbook to learn more about these principles and how ACCC member programs are putting them into practice.
