Anticipated Attendance: 400 cancer care providers and oncology healthcare leaders As the U.S. healthcare system undergoes fundamental change, all stakeholders are being impacted — providers, patients, payers, physician practices, hospitals, and health systems. To gain strategic insight into the complex integrated oncology treatment landscape where clinical advances, policy mandates, and value-based payment reform intersect, leading experts in oncology care delivery will gather from March 2 – 4, 2016, in Washington, D.C., at the ACCC 42nd Annual Meeting, CANCERSCAPE.

From biosimiliars to emerging “value” frameworks to perspective on how Medicaid expansion may be affecting patient access to care, speakers will tackle the most pressing issues facing oncology care today, with a focus on policy, value, and quality. Congressman Richard "Rick" Nolan (D-MN) will open the meeting sessions, addressing upcoming oncology policy changes, as well as his family’s personal fight against lung cancer.

Meeting attendees will also be taking their message to Capitol Hill as they join their state delegations and make their voices heard for ACCC Capitol Hill Day on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Multidisciplinary cancer team members will meet one-on-one with lawmakers to share how policy impacts oncology care in their community.

U.S. Representative Richard "Rick" Nolan will kick-off the Annual Meeting sessions on Thursday, March 3, speaking on "Oncology on the 'Hill.’” In January 2015, Congressman Nolan announced that his youngest daughter had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. Congressman Nolan is the co-founding chair of the Congressional Lung Cancer Caucus.
