Addressing Regional Cancer Care Disparities in CLL | Midwest Region (WI, IL, IA)

Tue, February 21, 2023
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

In this series, ACCC has invited providers across the U.S. to discuss the unique challenges seen in their respective regions and address how the current state of cancer care for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) may be improved. This one-hour session will include coverage on the current state of CLL treatment guidelines followed by an informal discussion.

Combined, these segments will build on information revealed in ACCC's heat maps, inferring potential disparities in access to care, supported by existing literature. This session will focus on the Midwest Region (WI, IL, IA).

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe CLL disparities found in literature
  • Summarize their region’s incidence of CLL across racial/ethnic categories
  • Recall CLL treatment guidelines
  • Identify potential solutions to address CLL disparities
